Since there was interest in meeting, even if only virtually, we're going to go ahead and do that for our June meeting. The day and time remains the same: Tuesday, June 2 at 7:00p. But instead of in a physical room, we'll get together on Google Meet.
We practiced a bit, so hopefully this will go fairly smoothly. There have been so many different meeting platforms in use lately and they are all a little different. Here's what should happen:
You go to this website on your computer:
meet.google.com/wrz-upjo-giq
Follow the onscreen prompts. For instance, you will be asked for your name -- first name is suffiecient -- and an email address, and then you will request to join the meeting. You'll go into a virtual "waiting room" until the organizer accepts your request.
Once you are in the meeting, you might want to change the viewing layout so you can see everyone else better. Go to the three dots in the bottom right hand corner that give you a pop-up screen for "More options" and choose "Change layout."
Choose the "Tiled" layout to see everyone else in attendance. If we had a speaker, we might use Sidebar or Spotlight, but there is no presentation you need to focus on for this meeting.
There is also a phone-in option, but then we wont see you're smiling face! But if you can't or don't want to use your computer, the phone number is +1 856-347-7636 and the
